SPECIAL CARE for PLANTS is quite simple: WATER <> AIR FLOW <> LIGHT Your goal is to maintain the best possible balance of these three ingredients. TO WATER a plant, in general means moisten the soil until you see the slightest bit of water in the drip container. This means it is important to allow drainage of your plants for many reasons, mostly to keep it easy for you and the plant alike. AIR FLOW means some type of air circulation is beneficial. This could mean somewhat breezy outside, a fan is turned on the plants once in a while; or you simply have good air circulation in your home or office to accommodate this need. However, this DOES NOT mean strong winds, which can burn leaves, sudden and frequent drafts, can cause plant to lose foliage. LIGHT typically means a good bright light for 12-15 hours per day. Home, office, outside are fine, minding not to put plants in direct sunlight that should not be there, leaving room for those that should be; typically your desert plants thrive on full sun. Many plants do and many do not. USE RESPECT AND COMMON SENSE to care for your plants. They get thirsty, hungry and much happier with light and a pleasant air flow (JUST LIKE WE DO) to generate oxygen FOR US. "What goes 'round comes 'round." DON'T OVER THINK THE PROCESS OR GIVE TOO MUCH ATTENTION, cause the old saying 'less is more', applies to happy nourished plant life. KISS works too, KEEP IT SO SIMPLE; they will remind you when they are thirsty, you just have to look at them once in a while. Feel free to WRITE US with specific inquiries.
